The past year and a half have been difficult for everyone because of the outburst of Covid, here at CDA we`ve had to adjust in lots of ways to ensure all our workers stay safe during these difficult times. For example, we keep 2 metres apart where possible. Sometimes when we work in groups it can be very difficult to socially distance, if this is the case, we make sure the workers are happy and comfortable to mix together. Because we ask everyone in the workplace to regularly test ourselves, so we know we are not spreading the virus!
In the past few months, we have seen some new arrivals to our team. This change has made it a little bit more difficult to stick to our covid rules, however we are very fortunate that our new staff members are very sensible and were already implementing most of the rules into their daily lives. Our new additions have been great assets to the team especially as in these tough times we have been very fortunate and business has remained steady. With our new rules it has sometimes been a struggle however the team have been wonderful to work collectively and get the jobs done on time and keep our customers happy!
With Covid seeming to be getting worse again we will be asking customers and visitors to wear masks again if it is necessary for them to enter the premises. Social distancing will also be implemented with any people not in out work team as we would hate it if any of our staff were to become infected. So far by sticking to our covid safety rules none of our members of staff have contracted coronavirus and we have all been able to happily continue our work as normally as we can. We have also all decided as a group to get our vaccines to help stop the spread of coronavirus and some of our staff have been lucky enough to recently get their booster. We hope everything can return to normal as soon as possible however we do not want to rush things and then make it worse for everyone else so we will be sticking to our covid safety rules for as long as required so our staff feel in a safe and happy environment.
